Our campsite in South Finistère is ideally located for a Breton holiday combining action, sightseeing and relaxation. Just across the road from the campsite, you can enjoy the activities offered by the Cardinale Sud sailing club on Kersidan beach. The Trégunc area is also full of all kinds of entertainment, especially during the summer months, from the usual to the more traditional: fest-noz, poissonnades, etc., a whole program to enhance our selection of visits and leisure activities to discover near the campsite!

- Adrenature
The Adrénature adventure park and accrobranche is just 20 minutes from the campsite and offers 9 courses for all ages and levels, from 3 years upwards. The more adventurous can climb to 25 m and more, right up close to the peaks… And if you’re not into aerobatics, don’t worry: most of the courses are accessible to families. All courses are equipped with the Vert Voltige Innovation system, a 100% secure continuous lifeline. Want even more thrills? Try the night courses offered every Wednesday from 7pm to 11pm in July and August.

Must-do rainy-weather activities
There are many misconceptions about Brittany’s weather. Nevertheless, it can happen that the sky doesn’t rise one morning, or that humidity levels exceed seasonal norms. We’ve got a few suggestions to keep you in the vacation spirit.
- Espace aquatique du Porzou in Concarneau
If you’re in need of some exercise and fun, theespace aquatique du Porzou in Concarneau could be just what you’re looking for. Just 12 km from the campsite, it has several pools for swimming, playing and relaxing, plus a paddling pool for the little ones. Water games and a whirlpool bath: there’s something for everyone. Is the fine weather back? Why not take the opportunity to visit Concarneau and its walled town?

Océanopolis features fish from all oceans, otters, a shark tank, a wall of live coral, penguins and seals, turtles… In short, over 1,000 animal species from all oceans in over 9,000 m² of visitor space spread over 5 ha. - Musée de la Voile in Lorient Dive into the world of ocean racing and legendary sailing ships. The Musée de la Voile Éric Tabarly is a must-see for sea and boat enthusiasts.

Treat your taste buds by visiting local producers. Between cookie factories, fish canneries and craft breweries, discover unique flavours and immerse yourself in Breton craftsmanship:
- Conserverie Courtin: One of Trégunc’s oldest canneries, founded in 1893. Specialized in the production of canned fish, including fish soups, rillettes and sardines. A must-see visit to discover the maritime flavors of Finistère.
- Brasserie de Bretagne: Based in Trégunc, this brewery produces iconic craft beers such as Britt and Sant Erwann. They also offer tours to learn more about the art of brewing.
- Biscuiterie de Pont-Aven: Near Trégunc, this cookie factory is famous for its Traou Mad and galettes bretonnes. An ideal way to discover the secrets of Breton pastry-making.
Towns and villages to visit
Le Suroit is the ideal destination for sightseeing in South Finistère, offering easy access to the most beautiful sites in the area.
Among the towns and villages not to be missed during your stay, don’t miss Locronan, renowned for its well-preserved medieval heritage, and the picturesque thatched cottages of Kerascoët, a traditional hamlet of thatched houses that will immerse you in Breton authenticity.
Pont-Aven, the city of painters, and Riec-sur-Belon, birthplace of the flat oyster with its fine hazelnut flavor, are also not-to-be-missed stops.
Lovers of the sea, witness the marriage of escape and picturesqueness in the typical fishing ports of Concarneau and Le Guilvinec.
Finally, discover the charm of Bénodet, and head up the riviera to Quimper to admire itsmedieval architecture!
Excursions around the campsite
Welcome to hiking country! If you like walking, the region has some lovely kilometers in store for you… starting with the GR 34, the famous “sentier des douaniers”.
- The GR 34 runs along the coast of Brittany, offering incredible views. If it’s the GR that takes your fancy, Le Suroit campsite has everything you need: short-stay packages and equipment if you prefer to travel light!
- If you’re looking for hikes and walks around the campsite, you won’t be disappointed. Between Trégunc and Nevez, there are numerous loops that will take you between the ocean and the salt waters of Aven in particular.
- Tip: visit your local Tourist Office to buy the Discover Your True Nature hiking guide. It costs €2.50 and features over 30 walking and/or cycling routes through Concarneau, Elliant, Névez, Pont-Aven, Rosporden, Saint Yvi, Tourc’h and Trégunc. The guide is also on sale at the campsite
